Successfully Dating recommends Comedy DVD movies that will
help you build a funny movie library. You must keep in mind
that some of the biggest comedy movie blockbusters, some of the highest
grossing films, and some of the most entertaining movies you'll
see are worth watching only once. These types of movies are not
suitable for a well-rounded movie library collection. Our
recommendations will help you find the classics and the notable
movies that you should have, so you can be prepared to pull out an
entertaining movie to watch, at any time, that your dates and
friends will actually want to watch.

Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie - A feature film
version of America's hit comedy concert tour, Blue Collar Comedy
Tour The Movie stars renowned comedians Jeff Foxworthy and Bill
Engvall and fellow Blue Collar comics Ron White and Larry The
Cable Guy. The film features live stand-up performances filmed at
Phoenix's Dodge Theater as well as behind-the-scenes sequences
highlighting the individual comedians.

Lost In Translation - Like a good dream, Sofia Coppola's
Lost in Translation envelops you with an aura of fantastic light,
moody sound, head-turning love, and a feeling of déjà vu, even
though you've probably never been to this neon-fused version of
Tokyo. Certainly Bob Harris has not. The 50-ish actor has signed
on for big money shooting whiskey ads instead of doing something
good for his career or his long-distance family. Jetlagged,
helplessly lost with his Japanese-speaking director, and out of
sync with the metropolis, Harris (Bill Murray, never better)
befriends the married but lovelorn 25-year-old Charlotte (played
with heaps of poise by 18-year-old Scarlett Johansson). Even
before her photographer husband all but abandons her, she is
adrift like Harris but in a total entrapment of youth. How
Charlotte and Bill discover their soul mates will be cherished for
years to come.

Along Came Polly - Opposites are forced to attract in
Along Came Polly, a dose of featherweight fluff that could've been
better and could've been worse--surely no pairing of Ben Stiller
and Jennifer Aniston can be a complete waste of time, right? Ben's
a newlywed insurance risk-assessment analyst whose wife (Debra
Messing, in a throwaway role) betrays him on their honeymoon. His
uptight, play-it-safe lifestyle (which includes acute aversion to
germs and irritable bowel syndrome) makes him seemingly
incompatible with the spontaneous, free-spirited Polly (Aniston),
but writer-director John Hamburg is determined to give them at
least the appearance of romantic potential.
